Every price includes flights, visa, hotels and transfers. Prices change with the season and with how early you book, so ask us for a quote for your dates. You can change any package. Pick a different hotel, a different split of nights, a different airport or a different airline.
What is included in an all-inclusive Umrah package?
Our all-inclusive Umrah packages 2027 include return flights, your Umrah visa, help with your Nusuk permit, hotels in both cities and all transfers. Travel insurance, the MenACWY vaccine and most meals cost extra. We list everything that is and is not included in writing before you pay.
Different agencies mean different things by "all-inclusive". This is what it means with us.
Included in every package
- Return flights from your chosen UK airport to Jeddah or Madinah
- Your Umrah visa
- Help registering your Nusuk permit for Umrah and for the Rawdah
- A hotel in Makkah and a hotel in Madinah, both near the Haram. Your quote names the hotel and says how far it is from the Haram
- Airport transfers and licensed transport between Makkah and Madinah
- Support from our UK team before you fly and while you are away
Not included
- Travel insurance with medical cover. Saudi Arabia now requires this before a visa is approved. We help you arrange it before we submit your visa
- The MenACWY meningitis vaccine. Saudi Arabia requires this. Get it from your GP or a travel clinic
- Meals, unless your package says breakfast is included
- Your own spending, gifts, and optional Ziyarat tours on some budget packages
How much does an Umrah package from the UK cost?
A 7-night Umrah package from the UK costs from £549 per person for 3-star, £589 for 4-star and £869 for 5-star. Flights are included. Most families pay between £700 and £1,100 per person once they choose 10 nights or a school holiday date.
Five things change the price:
- The time of year. Ramadan and UK school holidays cost the most. That means December, Easter, and the February and May half-terms. The weeks after Ramadan, the autumn and late January cost the least.
- The hotel. A 5-star hotel two minutes from the Haram costs more than a 3-star hotel with a shuttle bus. Your quote always says how far the hotel is from the Haram.
- How long you stay. 7 nights is the cheapest in total. 14 nights costs more in total but less per night.
- How early you book. Booking 2 to 4 months ahead is nearly always cheaper than booking late, mainly because of flight prices.
- How many of you travel. The price per person drops when families and groups share rooms.
The cheapest way to do Umrah from the UK is a 3-star trip outside the school holidays, booked two or three months ahead. The most expensive is a last-minute 5-star trip in Ramadan.
3-star, 4-star or 5-star which one should you choose?
The difference between our 3, 4 and 5-star Umrah packages is the hotel and how far you walk to the Haram. Flights, visa, transfers and support are the same whichever you choose.
3-star, from £549. Clean, simple hotels. Usually a 10 to 15 minute walk from the Haram, or a short shuttle bus ride. A good choice for a first trip or a small budget.
4-star, from £589. Closer to the Haram, usually a 5 to 10 minute walk. Bigger rooms, and breakfast is often included. This is the one most of our families book.
5-star, from £869. Hotels 1 or 2 minutes' walk from the Haram. These include the Makkah Clock Royal Tower, Fairmont Makkah, Madinah Hilton, Dar Al Taqwa and Dar Al Iman. A good choice for older pilgrims, anyone who finds walking hard, and anyone who wants to pray every prayer in the Haram without a long walk in the heat.
If you are travelling with elderly parents or young children, the shorter walk from a 4 or 5-star hotel is often worth the extra money. We will tell you honestly which one suits your group.
Umrah packages from London, Manchester, Birmingham and the rest of the UK
We arrange Umrah from every UK airport. London, Birmingham and Manchester have direct flights to Jeddah and Madinah. From other cities you connect through one of those airports, or through Istanbul, Doha or Dubai, all on one booking.
- London (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton). The most choice and the most direct flights. Saudia and British Airways fly straight to Jeddah and Madinah. A direct flight takes 6 to 7 hours. Our office is in Stratford, so London pilgrims can come in and plan with us in person.
- Manchester. Direct flights to Jeddah with Saudia. One-stop flights through Istanbul, Doha and Dubai. Handy for the North West and Yorkshire.
- Birmingham. Direct flights to Jeddah with Saudia. Good-value one-stop flights with Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways and Emirates.
- Leeds Bradford, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Cardiff, Bristol, Belfast and others. Connecting flights through London or through a Gulf or Turkish airport. We book the whole journey so you travel on one ticket.
Want a stopover in Istanbul or Dubai to break up the journey for children or grandparents? We can add that.
When is the cheapest time to go for Umrah from the UK?
The cheapest times to go for Umrah are the weeks after Ramadan (Shawwal), the weeks before Hajj (Dhul-Qa'dah), and the autumn. Ramadan is the most rewarding time to go, but it is also the busiest and the most expensive.

Umrah visa and Nusuk permit: the rules for 2026 and 2027
You need two things to perform Umrah. A visa to enter Saudi Arabia, and a Nusuk permit to perform the rituals. We arrange your Umrah visa and help you register your Nusuk permit. Both are part of every package.
The 1448 AH season began on 31 May 2026. The rules changed more this year than in any recent year. Here is what applies to you, and what we do about it.
- Your visa is valid for 30 days. If you do not enter Saudi Arabia within 30 days of the visa being issued, it is cancelled. It used to be three months. We apply for your visa at the right time for your travel date.
- No booking, no visa. A visa is only issued once your hotel and transport bookings are confirmed on Nusuk. All our hotels are on Nusuk, so we submit your booking and visa together.
- Your Nusuk permit is checked at the gates. Permits are checked on your phone at the Grand Mosque. Visits to the Rawdah in Madinah must be booked in the Nusuk app in advance. We register you and book both before you fly.
- Other visas now work for Umrah. UK citizens can use a Saudi tourist eVisa for Umrah outside the Hajj period. You still need a Nusuk permit. We will tell you which visa is best for you.
- Women can perform Umrah without a mahram, at any age.
- Season dates. The last day for visas is 9 March 2027 (1 Shawwal 1448 AH). The last day to enter is 23 March 2027 (15 Shawwal). Both depend on the moon sighting.
- You will need: a passport with at least 6 months left on it, recent photos, proof of your MenACWY vaccine, and travel insurance with medical cover.
Umrah for families, groups, older pilgrims and anyone who finds walking hard
We arrange Umrah for families, groups and pilgrims who need extra help. That includes wheelchair help in the Haram, family rooms, cots for babies, and hotels close enough to walk to the Haram for those who cannot go far.
- Families. Family rooms, hotels near the Haram, and help with children's paperwork.
- Groups of 10 to 50 or more. Mosque and community groups. Lower group rates, coach transfers, and one person at our end to deal with.
- Older pilgrims. Rooms close to the Haram, hotels with lifts, and wheelchair help for Tawaf and Sa'i.
- Babies. Cots and suitable rooms on request.
Tell us who is travelling when you first get in touch. These things are easy to sort out in advance and hard to fix once you are there.
What happens after you book
Once you book, we confirm your hotels, apply for your visa, help you register on Nusuk, and send you your full itinerary before you fly. You can reach our UK team by phone and WhatsApp for the whole of your trip.
- You book and pay a deposit through our secure, ATOL-protected portal. You can pay the rest in instalments.
- You send us your documents: passport, photos, proof of vaccine, insurance. We check them.
- We confirm your hotels on Nusuk and apply for your visa at the right time for your travel date.
- We help you register on Nusuk for your Umrah and Rawdah permits.
- We send you your itinerary: flights, hotel names and addresses, and transfer details.
- You travel. If anything goes wrong while you are there, you call us and we sort it out.

Questions people ask about Umrah packages from the UK
What is included in an Umrah package from the UK?
Return flights, Umrah visa, help with your Nusuk permit, hotels in Makkah and Madinah, airport transfers and transport between the two cities. Travel insurance, the MenACWY vaccine and most meals cost extra. We confirm what is included in writing before you pay.
How much does an Umrah package from the UK cost?
From £549 per person for 7 nights in 3-star hotels, £589 for 4-star and £869 for 5-star, with flights included. The final price depends on when you go, how long you stay, which hotel you pick and how early you book.
What is the cheapest Umrah package from the UK?
Our cheapest package is the 3-star, 7-night Umrah from £549 per person. It includes flights, visa, hotels and transfers. Going outside the school holidays and booking two or three months ahead keeps the price low.
What are the new Umrah rules for 2026 and 2027?
For the 1448 AH season: your visa is cancelled if you do not enter within 30 days; a visa is only issued once your hotel and transport are confirmed on Nusuk; Nusuk permits are checked at the Grand Mosque and Rawdah visits must be booked in advance; and tourist, visit and transit visas can now be used for Umrah outside the Hajj period. All our packages follow these rules.
Do I need a Nusuk permit as well as a visa?
Yes. The visa lets you into Saudi Arabia. The Nusuk permit lets you perform Umrah and visit the Rawdah. We arrange the visa and help you register the permit.
How long is an Umrah visa valid?
You must enter Saudi Arabia within 30 days of the visa being issued, or it is cancelled. Once you are there, you can stay for up to 90 days depending on the type of visa. We apply at the right time for your travel date.
When does the 2026/27 Umrah season end?
The last day for visas is expected to be 9 March 2027 (1 Shawwal 1448 AH). The last day to enter is 23 March 2027 (15 Shawwal). Both depend on the moon sighting.
When is the cheapest month for Umrah?
The weeks after Ramadan (Shawwal), the weeks before Hajj, and the autumn. Fewer people go then, so prices are lower.
How early should I book?
Two to three months ahead for quiet times of year. Four to six months ahead for Ramadan. Four to five months ahead for December. Booking early gets you better hotels and cheaper flights. We apply for the visa itself nearer the time because of the 30-day rule.
Do you have Umrah packages from Manchester and Birmingham?
Yes. Both airports have direct Saudia flights to Jeddah, and one-stop flights through Istanbul, Doha and Dubai. We also arrange flights from Leeds Bradford, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Cardiff, Bristol and Belfast with a connection.
Can women go for Umrah without a mahram?
Yes. Under the current Saudi rules, women of any age can travel, stay in hotels and perform Umrah on their own.
Do I need any vaccines for Umrah?
Yes. Saudi Arabia requires the MenACWY meningitis vaccine, and you must bring proof. Get it from your GP or a travel clinic before you fly.
How far will my hotel be from the Haram?
5-star hotels are usually 1 or 2 minutes' walk. 4-star hotels are 5 to 10 minutes' walk. 3-star hotels are 10 to 15 minutes' walk or a short shuttle ride. Your quote names the hotel and gives the distance.
Are meals included?
Some packages include breakfast. Others are room only. We confirm this before you pay and can arrange special diets.
Do you give family and group discounts?
Yes. The price per person comes down when families and groups share rooms. This applies to small families and to groups of 50 or more.
Can I change a package?
Yes. You choose your dates, airport, hotels, how the nights are split, Ziyarat tours and meals. Use Beat My Quote or give us a call.
How do I pay, and is my money safe?
You pay through a secure portal by card or bank transfer. You can pay in instalments. Every package with flights is protected under ATOL 12192.
How do I know an Umrah agency is genuine?
Check its ATOL number on caa.co.uk and make sure the company name matches. Ask for the ATOL Certificate in writing. Do not book with anyone who has no office or licence and only works through WhatsApp or social media.
