Trusted Islamic Travel Agency in the UK for Hajj and Umrah
Islamic Travel is a trusted Islamic travel agency in the UK. We are based in Stratford, London, and ATOL protected (ATOL 12192). We arrange Hajj and Umrah packages for UK Muslims. Our packages include flights from London, Manchester, Birmingham and other UK airports, hotels near the Haram, visa processing and 24/7 support. Prices start from £299. We have a 5-star rating from more than 500 verified reviews on Trustpilot.
Planning a trip to Makkah and Madinah takes a lot of work. You need flights, hotels, a visa and transport. Getting one of these wrong can spoil the whole journey.
That is where we come in. Since 2017, Islamic Travel has helped thousands of UK Muslims perform Umrah and Hajj. You tell us your dates, your budget and your nearest airport. We sort out everything else. You can then focus on your ibadah, not the paperwork.
Every booking is ATOL protected through Travixum Ltd (ATOL 12192). This means your money is safe if anything goes wrong before you travel. And if you find a cheaper quote from another agency, send it to us. Our Beat My Quote service will try to better it.
Why UK Muslims Choose Islamic Travel
A good Umrah travel agency needs to offer three things: trust, fair prices and real support. Here is how we do all three.
ATOL protection on every package. Your payment is protected under ATOL 12192. If we cannot deliver your trip, you get your money back. Never book Umrah with an agency that cannot show you an ATOL number.
Honest prices from £299. Our Umrah packages start at £299 for a 3-star, 7-night trip. The price we show is the price you pay. There are no hidden extras added later.
5-star rating from real pilgrims. More than 500 UK customers have reviewed us on Trustpilot. Our overall rating is 5 stars. Many customers book with us again and tell their family and friends about us.
24/7 support, even in Saudi Arabia. Our team answers calls day and night. We also stay in touch while you are in Makkah and Madinah. If a problem comes up at 3am, you have someone to call.
Flights from across the UK. We arrange flights from London Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham and most other UK airports. You can fly from the airport closest to your home.
A real office you can visit. We are not just a website. Our office is in Stratford, East London. You are welcome to come in, sit down with an advisor and talk through your options.
About Islamic Travel
Islamic Travel started in 2017 with a simple aim: to make Hajj and Umrah affordable, safe and easy for Muslims living in the UK. We began as a small London agency. Today we are one of the most reviewed pilgrimage agencies in the country, with customers from London to Glasgow.
Our advisors have arranged thousands of trips between them. Many have performed Umrah and Hajj themselves. This matters. When you ask if a hotel really is five minutes from the Haram, or if a 2am landing in Jeddah is hard with young children, you get an answer from someone who has been there.
We are also honest about what we are not. We are not the only agency selling Umrah packages in the UK. We will never push you to book. Our job is to give you clear prices, straight answers and financial protection. The decision is yours. This is why customers on our Trustpilot page mention advisors like Shamir, Umar and Dua by name. It is also why so many come back for their second and third trips.

Only need help with the paperwork? We also offer a stand-alone Umrah visa service. This suits pilgrims who like to book their own flights and hotels.
Umrah Packages for Every Budget
No two pilgrims are the same. So we build our packages in three clear levels. Each level includes flights, visa and hotels. The difference is comfort and distance from the Haram.
3-star packages (from £299). Clean, simple hotels about 10 to 15 minutes' walk from the Haram, or a short shuttle bus ride away. A good choice for students, young pilgrims and anyone on a tight budget.
4-star packages (from around £549). The most popular choice for families. Better rooms, often with breakfast included. The hotels are an easy walk from Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah.
5-star packages (from around £869). Top hotels, such as those in the Clock Tower buildings. Some rooms have views of the Haram. These hotels are right next to the mosque gates. A good choice for elderly pilgrims and anyone who wants full comfort.
Every package can be changed. Want a 5-star hotel in Madinah but a 3-star in Makkah? Ten nights instead of seven? A different airline? Just tell us, and we will price it for you.
Where You Will Stay in Makkah and Madinah
The right hotel makes a big difference to your Umrah. This is even more true if you plan to pray all five daily prayers in the Haram. Here is our honest advice.
In Makkah, distance is everything. Hotels within 500 metres of Masjid al-Haram cost more. But they save your energy in the heat. This matters a lot for elderly pilgrims and families with children. Hotels in areas like Aziziyah cost much less, and free shuttle buses run to the Haram. That is a fair swap if your budget is small.
In Madinah, the central area sits around Masjid an-Nabawi. Most of our 4-star and 5-star hotels are a few minutes' walk from the Prophet's Mosque. Madinah is calmer and flatter than Makkah, so even hotels a little further out are easy to manage.
We only use hotels our team knows. We tell you the real walking distance before you book, not a guess.
Ziyarah — Visiting the Holy Sites
Most of our packages include guided Ziyarah tours in both cities, or you can add one. In Makkah, this usually covers the Cave of Hira on Jabal al-Nour, the Cave of Thawr, Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat. In Madinah, you can visit Masjid Quba (the first mosque in Islam), Masjid Qiblatain, the site of the Battle of Uhud and the Jannat al-Baqi cemetery. A good guide explains the history of each place as you go. Many of our customers tell us the Ziyarah was one of the best parts of their trip.
When Is the Best Time to Perform Umrah from the UK?
You can perform Umrah at any time of year. The best time depends on your diary and your budget. Most UK pilgrims travel in the school holidays: February half-term, Easter, summer, December and Ramadan.
If your dates are flexible, the cheapest and quietest months are outside Ramadan and the school breaks. Late January, May and September often give you mild weather, lower fares and smaller crowds at the Kaaba.
Travelling in the school holidays? Easter and February half-term work well for UK families. The children miss no school, the weather in Saudi Arabia is pleasant, and prices are much lower than in Ramadan. These dates sell fast, so book two to three months ahead.
Travelling this year or next? Our Umrah packages 2026 cover every month of the year, with discounts for early booking.
Planning further ahead? Booking early almost always means better hotels and cheaper flights. You can already reserve our Umrah packages 2027 with a small deposit.
Winter break? Our December Umrah packages are popular with families. The weather in Makkah is cooler and the school holidays make travel easier.
The most rewarding time? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said that Umrah in Ramadan is equal in reward to Hajj performed with him (Sahih al-Bukhari). Demand is very high, so our Ramadan Umrah packages sell out months in advance. Book early to get a hotel near the Haram.
Hajj Packages from the UK
Hajj is a once-in-a-lifetime duty, and it needs careful planning. Our Hajj packages include flights, visa support, hotels in Makkah and Madinah, the camps at Mina, and guidance through the five days of Hajj.
Two things every UK pilgrim should know. First, the number of Hajj places for the UK is limited each year. Hotels near the Haram sell out many months ahead. Booking early really does matter. Second, Saudi rules say pilgrims must be at least 12 years old, hold a meningitis (ACWY) certificate and travel on a proper Hajj visa. A tourist visa is not valid for Hajj. We handle all of this for you. Our advisors will also explain the difference between shifting and non-shifting packages, so you know exactly what you are paying for. Call our team early to reserve your place.
Umrah from London, Manchester and Birmingham
Wherever you live in the UK, we can get you to Makkah. These are our three most popular starting points.
Umrah from London. Direct flights to Jeddah leave from Heathrow and Gatwick with airlines such as Saudia and British Airways. The flight takes about six and a half hours. Direct flights suit families with young children and elderly pilgrims who find stopovers tiring. London customers can also visit our Stratford office and book in person.
Umrah from Manchester. Manchester Airport serves Muslims across the North West and Yorkshire. There are direct flights and one-stop flights through the Gulf. The one-stop fares are often much cheaper. On a family booking of four or five people, that saving adds up.
Umrah from Birmingham. Birmingham is handy for the Midlands. It has good one-stop routes through Dubai, Doha and Istanbul. Many of our Birmingham customers add a short stopover to break up the journey for children and grandparents.
We also arrange flights from Luton, Stansted, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds Bradford and Cardiff. If your local airport flies to Jeddah or Madinah, we can build a package around it.
Halal Holidays Beyond Makkah and Madinah
Not every trip is a pilgrimage. Sometimes you just need a family break. If you want halal food, prayer facilities and Muslim-friendly resorts, look at our all-inclusive halal holidays. We offer beach resorts in Antalya, Turkey, villas in the Maldives and more. At every resort, the food is halal and the pools offer privacy. You can relax without giving up your values. Many families take a halal holiday one year and Umrah the next. Because we arrange both, we can plan around your budget for the whole year.
How to Book with Islamic Travel
Booking takes three simple steps:
- Get a quote. Call 0203-970-4500, message us on WhatsApp, or fill in the Plan Your Own Umrah form on this page. Tell us your dates, airport, number of travellers and rough budget.
- Confirm your package. Choose your flights, hotels and dates. We send you a written quote with every cost listed. There are no hidden extras. Pay a deposit to hold your booking.
- Travel with confidence. We send your visa, tickets and hotel vouchers before you fly. Our team is available 24/7 during your trip.
What happens after you book? We process your Umrah visa, which is usually issued within a few working days. We confirm your hotels in writing. We then send you a checklist covering vaccinations, ihram, money and what to pack. A few days before you leave, we check your flights again and give you an emergency phone number that works day and night while you are in Saudi Arabia. If a flight changes or there is a problem with a hotel, you call us and we fix it.
Visit us at Suite No.1, The Old Dispensary, 30 Romford Road, Stratford, London E15 4BZ. Or contact us by phone or email. We serve pilgrims across the whole of the UK.
What Our Customers Say
We could tell you we are the best Umrah travel agency in the UK. But our customers say it better. Islamic Travel has a 5-star rating on Trustpilot from more than 500 verified reviews. Pilgrims often mention the same three things: honest advice with no pressure to buy, trips that matched exactly what was promised, and support that carried on after they landed in Saudi Arabia. Read the reviews on Trustpilot, then call us and see for yourself.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Islamic Travel a trusted Umrah agency?
Yes. Islamic Travel is ATOL protected (ATOL 12192, held by Travixum Ltd) and registered in England and Wales. We have a 5-star rating on Trustpilot from more than 500 verified customers. We have arranged Hajj and Umrah for UK Muslims since 2017.
How much does an Umrah package cost from the UK?
Our Umrah packages start from £299 for a 3-star, 7-night trip. A 10-night package with flights, hotels and visa usually costs between £549 and £869. The price depends on the hotel standard and your travel dates. Ramadan packages cost more because demand is high.
What is included in your Umrah packages?
Most packages include return flights from the UK, your Umrah visa, hotels in Makkah and Madinah, and transport between the two cities. Ziyarah tours can be added. You can also change any package, for example by choosing hotels closer to the Haram.
Which UK airports do you fly from?
We arrange flights from London Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds and most other UK airports.
Can you arrange just the Umrah visa?
Yes. If you have booked your own flights and hotels, we can process your Umrah visa on its own. Most visas are issued within a few working days.
Do I need any vaccinations for Umrah?
Yes. Saudi Arabia asks pilgrims for proof of the meningitis (ACWY) vaccine. Get this from your GP or a local pharmacy at least two to three weeks before you travel.
How long does an Umrah trip take?
The Umrah rituals themselves take only a few hours. But most UK pilgrims book 7 to 14 nights. This gives time to pray in both Makkah and Madinah and to visit the holy sites. Our most popular packages are 7, 10 and 14 nights.
Can women perform Umrah without a mahram?
Yes. Saudi Arabia no longer asks women to travel with a mahram for Umrah. Women of any age can now book and perform Umrah on their own or in a group. We can arrange group travel if you would rather journey with other sisters.
How far ahead should I book Umrah?
Book two to four months ahead for the best flight prices and hotel choice. For busy times such as Ramadan, December and school holidays, book four to six months ahead. Hotels near the Haram sell out first.
What documents do I need for Umrah?
You need a passport valid for at least six months from your travel date, a passport-sized photo and your meningitis (ACWY) certificate. We handle the visa application and tell you exactly what to send us.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. You can hold most packages with a deposit and pay the rest before you leave. Call 0203-970-4500 and our team will explain the payment options for your package.
Do you arrange group and family bookings?
Yes. We often arrange Umrah for families, mosque groups and community groups. Group bookings often get lower rates. We can also arrange connecting rooms and shared transport.
Can you help elderly pilgrims or people with limited mobility?
Yes. We can arrange wheelchair help at airports, hotels close to the Haram to cut down walking, and ground-floor or lift-access rooms. Tell us what you need when you book and we will plan around it.
What is the Beat My Quote service?
If another UK travel agency gives you a written quote for a similar package, send it to us. We will try to beat it. It is our way of making sure you never pay more than you should.
Is my money safe with Islamic Travel?
Yes. Every package with flights is ATOL protected under licence 12192. If the company cannot provide your trip, the ATOL scheme refunds your money or brings you home. You will receive an ATOL certificate when you book.
