Why book your Hajj 2027 early?

Short answer: book early to get a place, a good hotel, and today’s price. Hajj places for UK pilgrims are limited by the Saudi quota system. The hotels closest to the Haram fill up first, and prices tend to rise the longer you wait. Booking now for Hajj 2027 secures your spot, your preferred hotel, and the current price.

Our Hajj 2027 packages and prices

All our Hajj 2027 packages are non-shifting, so you stay in the same hotel for your whole trip. Prices are per person, based on four people sharing a room. Single and twin upgrades are available on request.

Hajj packages from across the UK

We arrange Hajj from every part of the UK. Our flights leave from London, Birmingham, and Manchester. If you live in another city, we get you to one of these airports and onto your Hajj flight, all on one booking.

London (Heathrow and Gatwick)

Our main departure point, with the most flight choices to Jeddah. This is easy for pilgrims across London and the South East. You are also welcome to visit our office in Stratford, East London, to plan your Hajj in person.

Birmingham (BHX)

Direct Hajj departures for pilgrims across the Midlands. A popular choice for people in Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, and the towns nearby.

Manchester (MAN)

Hajj departures for the North West, including Manchester, Bolton, Blackburn, Oldham, and Preston.

Leeds, Bradford, and Yorkshire

Most Yorkshire pilgrims travel from Manchester, which is the nearest Hajj departure airport. We arrange your travel to the airport and your full Hajj package together, on one booking.

Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Scotland

Scottish pilgrims usually connect through London or Manchester. We book the whole journey on one ticket, so you only book once and we handle the rest.

Other UK cities

Wherever you live — Cardiff, Newcastle, Bristol, Leicester, Luton, and beyond — we arrange your Hajj from your nearest hub airport. Just tell us where you are, and we will plan the best route for you.

Shifting vs non-shifting Hajj packages

The difference is whether you change hotels during the busiest days of Hajj. In a shifting package, you move out of your Makkah hotel during the Mina and Arafat days, so your room is not held for you. It is cheaper, but less comfortable. In a non-shifting package, you keep the same hotel the whole time, with access to your room and luggage throughout. It costs more, but it is more comfortable, especially for families, older pilgrims, and anyone with reduced mobility. Every package we offer is non-shifting.

Your hotels in Makkah and Madinah

Our 5-star packages place you within a short walk of the Haram, usually around ten minutes. Depending on availability, you stay in well-known hotels such as the Pullman Zamzam Grand Suites in Makkah, and the Dar Al Hijra InterContinental or Millennium Al Aqeeq in Madinah, along with options like the Crowne Plaza and Anjum Hotel. Ground-floor rooms, wheelchair access, and special meal needs can be arranged for pilgrims who need them. Just let us know when you book.

How much does Hajj 2027 cost?

Hajj 2027 packages with Islamic Travel start from £6,495 per person and go up to £9,095 for 5-star non-shifting. All prices are per person, based on four people sharing a room. The final price depends on the hotel star rating, how close you stay to the Haram, how many share your room, and how long you travel for. Single and twin upgrades are available. Contact us for a live price for your dates.

When is Hajj 2027?

Hajj 2027 is expected to fall in May 2027. The exact dates are only confirmed after the moon is sighted in Saudi Arabia, so any dates published before then are estimates. Because the closest hotels and the limited UK quota fill up months ahead, we recommend registering early rather than waiting for the final dates.

How to book Hajj 2027 from the UK?

UK pilgrims register through Nusuk, the official Saudi government platform, which handles visa approval and package allocation. Because the process and quota can be hard to manage alone, most pilgrims book through an approved agency that does it for them. Islamic Travel is approved by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, and we handle your Nusuk registration, documents, and visa from start to finish. To reserve a place, contact our team, and we will talk you through the package that best fits your budget and needs. Many pilgrims also visit Makkah before Hajj — if you are planning ahead, see our Umrah packages, available all year.

A quick guide to performing Hajj

Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam. It is a once-in-a-lifetime duty for every Muslim who is able to make the journey. There are three forms: Tamattu, Qiran, and Ifrad. Tamattu, where you perform Umrah and then Hajj in the same season, is the most common for pilgrims from the UK. The main rites include entering the state of Ihram, Tawaf around the Kaaba, Sa’ee between Safa and Marwah, standing at Arafat, the nights at Muzdalifah and Mina, the stoning of the pillars, the sacrifice, and the farewell Tawaf. Our guides and daily lectures walk you through each step before and during the journey, so you can focus on your worship.

Why book your Hajj with Islamic Travel?

  • ATOL-protected packages (ATOL 12192), so your air-inclusive booking is financially secure
  • Approved by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah
  • Departures from London, Birmingham, and Manchester, with help for pilgrims UK-wide
  • Experienced guides and daily guidance throughout your trip

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is included in a Hajj 2027 package?

How much do Hajj 2027 packages cost?

Our Hajj 2027 packages start from £6,495 per person and go up to £9,095 for 5-star non-shifting. Prices are per person, based on four people sharing a room. The price depends on the hotel, how close it is to the Haram, room sharing, and trip length. Call us for a live price for your dates.

Can I get a Hajj package from London, Birmingham, or Manchester?

Yes. We run Hajj departures from London (Heathrow and Gatwick), Birmingham, and Manchester. Choose the airport nearest to you, and we arrange your flights, visa, hotels, and transport from there. Tell us your city and we will find the best departure for you.

Can I book Hajj from other UK cities like Leeds, Bradford, or Glasgow?

Yes. If your city does not have a direct Hajj flight, we get you to your nearest hub airport (London, Birmingham, or Manchester) and onto your Hajj flight on one booking. We help pilgrims from all over the UK, including Yorkshire, Scotland, Wales, and the North East.

What is the difference between shifting and non-shifting Hajj?

In a shifting package, you move out of your Makkah hotel during the busy Mina and Arafat days, so your room is not kept for you. It costs less but is less comfortable. In a non-shifting package, you keep the same hotel the whole time. All our packages are non-shifting.

When is Hajj 2027?

Hajj 2027 is expected to fall in May 2027. The exact dates are only confirmed after the moon is sighted in Saudi Arabia, so earlier dates are estimates. The closest hotels and the limited UK quota fill up months ahead, so it is best to book early.

How do I book Hajj 2027 from the UK?

UK pilgrims register through Nusuk, the official Saudi government platform, which handles the visa and package allocation. The process and quota can be hard to manage alone, so most people book through an approved agency. Islamic Travel is approved by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and handles it all for you.

Are your Hajj packages ATOL protected?

Yes. Islamic Travel is ATOL registered (ATOL 12192), so your air-inclusive package is financially protected. If your flights are cancelled, you are covered for a refund of the air-inclusive part. Always check that you receive an ATOL certificate when you book.

What are the age and health rules for Hajj?

Under current Saudi rules, pilgrims must be at least 12 years old, and there is no upper age limit. You need a meningococcal (ACWY) vaccine at least ten days before you travel, plus the certificate for your visa. A medical fitness certificate is also required.

Can I perform Hajj on a tourist visa?

No. You need a specific Hajj visa to perform Hajj. A Saudi tourist visa does not allow it. We arrange the correct Hajj visa and your Nusuk registration as part of your package.

Can a woman perform Hajj without a Mahram?

Yes. Current Hajj rules allow women to travel for Hajj without a Mahram. You can book a package and travel with the group. We arrange safe accommodation and group travel for women pilgrims.

Why is Hajj so expensive?

A few costs add up: the limited pilgrim quota against very high demand, flight prices, government visa and service fees, Mina tent costs, transport inside Saudi Arabia, and exchange rates. These set the base price before you choose your hotel or trip length.

How early should I book Hajj 2027?

Book as early as you can, ideally many months ahead. UK Hajj places are limited by the Saudi quota, and the hotels closest to the Haram sell out first. Booking early gets you a place, your preferred hotel, and today’s price before any rises.
